Melissa Ward, Managing Partner of NewWard Development, LLC™ and President of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club has been appointed Publicity Chair for Rotary District 7190. Ms. Ward will be serving the district from January 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009. “This is a thrilling opportunity for me to get more involved in Rotary and be able to help spread the word about what Rotarians do”, said Ms. Ward.
Rotary District 7190, lead by District Governor Harriet Nobel of the Champlain Canal Rotary Club, comprises of 46 clubs representing 1535 members in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga, Schoharie, Washington, Warren, Fulton, and Montgomery counties. Rotary International is a world-wide community service organization that initiated such programs as Polio Plus, the global eradication of polio, world literacy and much more.
